If there is anytime that the church needs to be visible with a credible voice, it is now that there is so much darkness and confusion in the world. Isaiah 60:1-3 NKJV says, “Arise, shine; For your light has come and the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.”
The church is supposed to be salt and light in the world. Matthew 5:13-16 NKJV says, “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
On Sunday 10th of December 2017, snow fell in London, transportation was disrupted and many members and the preacher for the day could not get to church. We decided to worship the Lord for the day, and He spoke these words to the church in the process:
“Today is no coincidence, it is ordained. There is a shift in the atmosphere and there will be showers of blessings of snow and rain throughout the day. I am separating the old from the new and there is a new rebirth in the nation. Something has broken, and as I said to you on Friday, you have entered into the realm of nothing is impossible, so worship and thank me with understanding. Revelation is increasing, I am doing a new thing and the church is called forth to shine. Angels are rejoicing with you for what I am doing. While the iniquity of the wicked is full and they will be judged, the prayers of the saints are also full and their blessings will be full. Enter into a new year like never before. My name will be exalted in the nation. Stand firm and separate yourself from the world. This is the season for the church to shine.”
I believe that it shall be just as the Lord has spoken (Acts 27:25).
