At New Covenant Church, Bermondsey, we believe that sharing the good news of Jesus Christ is not just a command, but a joyful response to the life-changing grace we have received. Our Evangelism Team is passionate about reaching out to our community and beyond with the life-transforming message of the Gospel, demonstrating the love of Christ in tangible and meaningful ways.

We understand that evangelism is more than just sharing information; it’s about building relationships, showing compassion, and reflecting the character of Christ in every interaction. We strive to live out the Gospel in our daily lives, being a light to those around us and demonstrating the love of God through our words and actions.

We actively collaborate with other church departments and organise various outreach projects, including ‘We Care,’ Love Feasts, water distribution drives, ‘Bag of Hope’ initiatives, and other community service projects. These projects provide opportunities to serve our community, build relationships with our neighbors, and naturally share our faith with those we encounter.

Through these initiatives, we aim to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our community, demonstrating the love of Christ in a tangible way. Whether it’s providing food and clothing to those in need, offering a listening ear to someone struggling, or simply sharing a kind word and a smile, we strive to reflect the compassion and grace of Jesus in all our interactions.

We engage in various forms of outreach, including personal evangelism, sharing our faith with friends, family, and acquaintances in a natural and authentic way. We believe in the power of one-on-one conversations and building genuine relationships.
